From filleting and preparing fish to mastering knife skills, these sessions introduce young cooks to the technical foundations of a professional kitchen. Students will learn how to break down ingredients with precision, understand flavour pairing, work confidently with meat and fish, and develop essential cooking techniques such as searing, seasoning, and timing.

Beyond individual skills, they’ll also gain an understanding of kitchen organisation, presentation, and the discipline required to produce consistently high-quality dishes, giving them a true insight into what it takes to cook at a more advanced level.
